Lisa Lane is a Welsh independent jewellery designer maker, specialising in creating unique contemporary jewellery using traditional jewellery techniques.
Lisa studied Design Crafts before transitioning to jewellery design and studying a master of arts in Metalwork and Jewellery design.
After eleven years of lecturing 3D Design Lisa is focusing on her craft and developing her collections.
Inspired by organic aesthetic quality of organic forms, Lisa is developing her research through the unexpected patterns layers textures and repetition of shapes found within nature. Using these as a source of inspiration to create drawings designs and prints to transfer and permanently etch on the surface of the piece using the etching process. Pieces are often framed with square silver wire and sections are oxidised to create contrast in the surface quality. Creating eye catching designs that are unique and have a contemporary aesthetic.
Lisa’s collections are always evolving through experimentation of process, but her trademark form and style is always evident.
